Floating plants spread until they cover half the surface and everything underneath sits in shade. The ring gives them a defined area and keeps them where you want them. It works the same way at feeding time: flakes, granules and live food stay together instead of drifting into every corner.
Material
Printed in PETG. Water-resistant and dimensionally stable, even after months in the tank. PLA softens permanently in water and turns brittle, which is why I don't use it for aquarium parts. Many cheap rings are made of PLA because it is easier and cheaper to print, but it doesn't last in water.

Printed in PETG, water resistant and dimensionally stable. To clean, rinse with lukewarm water or a little aquarium water and a soft brush. Please no hot water, no dishwasher and no dish soap.
Got one to try to hold my plants in place since they’re dying.
It works but I don’t recommand it if you have a big animal in the tank lol.
Mine just goes over it so I had to put some stuff to hold it in place better. If it’s for a plant tank/fish thank or any small animals you’ll be fine.
