Getting duckweed off the surface with an ordinary net is a test of patience. The scoop shape lifts it in one sweep, and the fine hole pattern lets the water drain straight through while holding the plants back. One pass across the surface and the scoop is full.
The size suits small and medium tanks. The handle sits comfortably in the hand even after several passes, and has a hole so you can hang it on a hook or inside the cabinet.
Material
Printed in PETG. Water-resistant and dimensionally stable, even after months in the tank. PLA softens permanently in water and turns brittle, which is why I don't use it for aquarium parts.

About the finish
I print every part in Germany, check each one myself and pack it by hand. The fine lines on the surface are part of 3D printing, not a defect.
